Hairstyles Mode (Fullscreen Skin)

Hairstyle is a new full screen mode for Media Center.  It is intended for use on a TV and can be controlled with a remote.

To view Hairstyles:

1.

Go to Playing Now, and view the visualization in full screen mode.  
- Double click on the visualization display area; or
- Right-click on it and select Display | Full Screen and select your preferred resolution (desktop is recommended).  

2.

Press the menu key (to the left of the ctrl key on the right side of the keyboard), or right-click and select Toggle Hairstyle.

To exit Hairstyle Mode, do one of the following:

Press the Escape key (to return to internal window); or

•

Press the menu key (to right of spacebar) to return to full screen; or

•

Or right-click and select Toggle Hairstyles to return to full screen; or

•

Press F11 or Ctrl-W to toggle between “mini-me” or “mega-me” modes, full screen, and Hairstyle.

To edit or Create Hairstyles

1.

Go to …\J River\Media Center\FullSkins\ and make a backup copy of the Hairstyle folder (to preserve the original).

2.

Open “main.xml” in the Hairstyle folder with a text editor (Notepad will do).

3.

Make changes. (The xml file includes many instructions).

4.

To view your changes, display Hairstyles in Media Center.
